Welcome to Doodlebook
A tiny, living desktop that runs entirely in your browser — windows, apps, a real on-device assistant, and a Magic Pointer that drives it all.
This guide is a quick tour. Everything you read about is one click away — use the Open buttons to jump straight into an app, or explore from the dock and the app shelf on the right.
Meet your apps
Each app is fully interactive. Here are a few worth opening first:
Your on-device assistant. Ask it anything — it runs a real local model right in the browser.
Browse the web in a familiar shell, complete with tabs, an omnibox, and bookmarks.
Explore the city, filter places by category, and get a walking route to anywhere.
A live month view of your week. Click any day to see the schedule.
Browse apps and watch the install bar fill — then open them.
Dim the lights, nudge the thermostat, and flip switches around the house.
The Magic Pointer
Tap the glowing wand at the right end of the dock to wake the Magic Pointer. It glides across the desktop, highlights things it can act on — like the gallery in the Viewer — and hands them to Gemmani so you can ask questions about whatever it's pointing at.
Tips & shortcuts
- open_in_fullFull screen. Use the maximize button in any window's title bar to let an app take over the whole screen — the menu bar becomes its top bar. Press Esc to exit.
- drag_panMove & stack. Drag a window by its title bar. Click any window to bring it forward.
- dock_to_bottomThe dock & shelf. Launch from the dock along the bottom or the app shelf on the right. Open apps show a dot.
- smartphoneOn the go. Open this on a phone — the desktop folds into a single full-screen app view automatically.
That's it — go poke around. Everything here is a demo, so nothing can break.
